Mahler Lieder

I am currently in the process of arranging Mahler's beautiful Rückert Lieder for my quintet Eigelstein Brass and the fantastic mezzo-soprano Brynne McLeod who currently works in the Tiroler Landestheater, Innsbruck, Austria. It is not often that brass ensembles are given the opportunity to show off their lighter and subtler musical side, but I am finding this selection of songs a perfect opportunity to both add to the brass quintet repertoire and also to develop the sound of our ensemble.
