A lot of academics!

Hi there folks. This is now week 5 of the Global Leaders Program seminars and it really is a treat to be involved in it! Some incredibly interesting and topics are brought up every seminar both by the lecturers and the rest of the cohort. It is amazing to be part of a group who are so forward thinking and have such a want to develop what they do all of the time. There has been a lot of reading involved before each of the lectures which is also quite new to me. I got through relatively unscathed in my bachelors degree I recon! On the playing side I am preparing just now for an audition in November for the Radio Orchestra in Berlin. It has been quite a while since my last one and it is nice focusing on the orchestral repertoire intensely again after the summer break. I also popped along to a fun rehearsal of Banda Internationale, a fantastic group here in Dresden who are doing amazing work both as ensemble and as a welcoming voice to refugees who arrive here in the city.
