CD Release, Gnomes and Late Night Gigs

Hello everyone! This week is short as it has mainly been practice over the past few weeks. I have spoken with Iain Masson who is composing some short pieces for solo tuba for me and he has decided on the theme of Gnomes! He is looking for titles for individual movements so should you have any ideas please let me know! I am currently up in Essen and tomorrow have another concert with the Follow Me's in Cologne. Quite a late night with the set finishing at midnight. Should be fun though! Today was also a very special day for me as the disk which I recorded with the Kammerphilharmonie was just released in Japan. It is due for European release next year in the autumn. The disc has Brahms Symphony No.2, Academic Festive Overture, and Tragic Overture. Everything with Tuba on the one disc! Perfect! I am so happy to have played on this recording as it was such an amazing experience and a dream come true playing on a CD released by Sony RCA! More news soon! F
